Teacher training with an opportunity to do your teaching practice in an underprivileged school in India.
TESOL (designed for developing schools/communities) for native ENGLISH speakers and those with C2 level of English.
What is Tesol?
This is basically an initial teacher training programme to teach English as a foreign/ second language. On successful completion of this course you will be akin to someone who has successfully passed his or her driving test. You will now have all the theoretical and practical knowledge to drive a car from A to B. However, to become a highly competent, experienced driver, it will require hours, weeks, months and years of actual DRIVING. Similarly, this course will give you a foundation from which you are expected to build on your skills and experience through TEACHING.
Who is this course for?
TESOL/TEFL courses normally attract people for different reasons. Some people do these courses for travel purposes, knowing that they can travel around the world easily if they find a job teaching English. Others do it because they have spent some years working in another field and they feel ready to try something new or because they are currently unemployed and are seeking to enhance their skills. Yet others see it as a stepping stone to other things while other people decide to make teaching their vocation and go on to become excellent, motivated and highly compassionate teachers. Our TESOL as well as giving you the core principles of teaching English will give you the extra skills to be able to work in a developing situation.
